Convention: Ikkicon This Weekend
Hey there folks! If you happen to be in Austin this weekend, you should totally come and check out Ikkicon! This will only be the conventions second year, but after the awesome time I had last year, I’m totally psyched about going again!
Well, maybe not to psyched… With full time work and full time school, I have had little time for my dorkiness… So of course, I’m doing about three months worth of work in about… Oh… Two days?
Right now, I’m dizzy and slightly nauseous from spray-paint fumes, my right hand is half-painted by the same paint that’s giving my a headache, my back hurts from bending over a sewing machine and sewing buttons onto jackets, I have blisters on my fingers from hot glue burns and all sorts of other things I’m not going to get into…
But you know what? I totally wouldn’t have it any other way ^_^
This is what makes conventions so much fun… The crazy rush to finish things before you head off into the wild blue yonder with your friends to romp about in a hotel with a shitload of strangers who all share similar interests to you =)
But yeah, if you’re in Austin, some see me ^_^
