GuySpy Sees JUDAS KISS
“We’re thrilled to be working with the folks at GuySpy,” said Judas Kiss producer Carlos Pedraza. “We teamed up on a successful promotional effort at our first film festival in Phoenix last week.”
GuySpy produced the posters, postcards and stickers advertising the film, and proclaiming the company’s assessment of Judas Kiss:
“A super-sexy film with more twists than a smart cocktail. Funny, touching and filled with hot guys, a definite MUST SEE.”
“We expect to come up with some creative ways to promote our film and GuySpy’s app throughout this film festival season,” Carlos added.
The GuySpy app — available on the iPhone, Android devices and on the Web for desktop and Blackberry users — makes a couple of appearances in Judas Kiss itself, thanks to visual effects wizard Joël Bellucci.
GuySpy is an all-male, location-based mobile social networking tool, billing itself “the go-to place for gay, bi, and curious guys to meet.” The free GuySpy app combines voice chat with the immediacy of location. It allows users to browse everyone by location, or to learn about only the people whose interests match theirs. Users can share multiple profile photos, and then connect via voice or text.
“We are excited to sponsor Judas Kiss — an edgy, entertaining film that appeals to the same audience we do,” said Morris Chapdelaine, Executive Editor of GuySpy. “The movie’s festival screenings are a natural environment for us to demonstrate the power of this new cross-platform, location-based mobile social networking tool. So as guys attend the latest, greatest new films, they can send messages to meet up later for events like the festivals’ afterparties.”
GuySpy is the flagship product of Stark Mobile Media, which develops and distributes Web, mobile Web, and mobile applications to North American markets. The GuySpy app is available for iPhone/iPad/iPod, Android, and the mobile and desktop Web. For more information, visit www.guyspy.com.
